Model 440 UV /Vis spectrophotometer with external shutter and general purpose integrating sphere

The fiber optic coupled integrating sphere attachment provides uniform diffused illumination. It is suitable for solid surface analyses, color analysis and for the measurement of samples of varying gloss texture. The general purpose sphere incorporates a tungsten source lamp and covers the wavelength range from 350 nm - 980 nm.

Fiber optic coupling allows measurements on large panels that are otherwise impossible to measure in traditional bench top spectrographs and color measuring instruments.

The integrating sphere attachment requires a Model 430 or 440 spectrophotometer.

UV Extended Integrating Spheres

The UV extended sphere has an interior surface machined entirely of Teflon permitting wavelength coverage from 200 nm - 980 nm when equipped with a xenon light source.

An external shutter and fiber optic patch cord is included and allows for true blank subtraction and precisely controlled integration times.
