Replacement Lamps
Tungsten lamp for use with all 400 Series UV/Vis spectrophotometers
All 400 Series Instruments incorporate high intensity tungsten halogen sources. These are G-4 base, 6V sources with a color temperature of 3,150 Kelvin.

The rated lifetime is 100 hours. Longer lifetime lamps are available but sacrifice output intensity. A full list of the lamp specifications can be viewed here.

When ordering replacement tungsten lamps please use the following information:

Deuterium lamp used in all 400 Series UV/Vis spectrphotometers
All Model 420 and 440 spectrophotometers incorporate the highest quality deuterium sources. These are high output lamps rated for 4,000 hours of operation.
